Browsing Banknotes

The banknote list page (Banknotes > Browse All) shows all banknotes in the database in a sortable, filterable table. Each row displays:
- Country — The country of origin
- Currency — The currency code and name
- Denomination — The face value of the banknote
- Year — The year the banknote was first issued
- Substrate — The material (paper, polymer, composite, etc.)
- Status — Whether the banknote is current, superseded, or obsolete
- Image — A thumbnail of the banknote front (if available)
Sorting
Click on any column header to sort by that column. Click again to reverse the sort order. An arrow icon indicates the current sort column and direction.
Pagination
Results are paginated by default (50 per page). Use the pagination controls at the bottom to navigate between pages or change the number of results per page.
Status Badges
Each banknote displays its status as a badge:
- Current — The banknote is in active circulation
- Superseded — The banknote has been replaced by a newer version
- Obsolete — The banknote is no longer legal tender
- Commemorative (Circulating) — A commemorative banknote in circulation
- Commemorative (Numismatic) — A commemorative banknote for collectors
