Browsing by Shape, Metal & Edge

Browse by Shape

Navigate to Coins > By Shape to see coins grouped by their physical shape. This view shows each shape type (Round, Multi-sided, Polygonal, etc.) with the count of coins of that shape. Click on a shape to see all coins of that type.

Browse by Metal

Navigate to Coins > By Metal to see coins grouped by their metal composition. This shows the various metals and alloys used (Copper, Nickel, Bronze, Steel, etc.) and the number of coins made from each. This is useful for understanding material trends across different countries and time periods.

Browse by Edge

Navigate to Coins > By Edge to see coins grouped by their edge type. Edge types include Reeded, Plain, Milled, and various other edge treatments. Click on an edge type to see all coins with that edge design.

Exporting Grouped Data

Each browse-by page includes an export option (if your subscription includes export access) that generates an Excel file with the grouped data and counts.
