Browsing Coins

The Coin List

The coin list page (Coins > Browse All) shows all coins in the database in a sortable, filterable table. Each row displays:

• Country — The country of origin (via the issuing authority)
• Denomination — The face value of the coin
• Year — First year of minting
• Shape — Physical shape (round, polygonal, etc.)
• Edge — Edge type (reeded, plain, milled, etc.)
• Status — Whether the coin is current, superseded, or obsolete
• Image — A thumbnail of the coin (if available)

Sorting

Click on any column header to sort by that column. Sortable columns include denomination, year, issuing authority, shape, and metal. Click again to reverse the sort order.

Status Badges

Each coin displays its status as a badge:

• Current — The coin is in active circulation
• Superseded — The coin has been replaced by a newer version
• Obsolete — The coin is no longer legal tender
