Cancelling Your Subscription

How to Cancel

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Access the Billing Portal (see Managing Your Subscription)
  2. Click on Cancel plan
  3. Confirm the cancellation

Only the billing administrator can cancel the subscription.

What Happens When You Cancel

  • Your subscription is cancelled at the end of the current billing period
  • You retain full access to DataVault until the expiry date
  • No further charges will be made
  • Your team members will also lose access when the subscription expires

Cancellation Indicators

After cancelling, the Team Management page will show:

  • A Cancelling status badge
  • The expiry date when your access will end
  • A note that access continues until expiry

Reactivating a Cancelled Subscription

If you change your mind before the expiry date, you can reactivate your subscription through the Billing Portal. Your subscription will continue without interruption.

After Expiry

Once your subscription expires:

  • You and your team members will lose access to premium features
  • You will still be able to log in, but access will be limited to guest-tier features
  • Your data and account are preserved — you can resubscribe at any time
