How Issuing Authorities Link to Data
Issuing authorities are the primary organiser for coins. Each coin is linked to a specific issuing authority. For banknotes, the issuing authority provides an additional link alongside the currency to identify the correct central bank, particularly in cases where multiple countries share a currency (e.g., the Euro).
